Domina HP hinges can be combined with three different fixing system:
- traditional fixing with counterplates
- direct M12 screw for quick fitting (for thermal break profiles)
- expansion dowels (for single-groove profiles)
The fixing system is to be chosen depending on the performance required and the type of application.
Traditional fixing with counterplates
Suitable for use on both single-groove and thermal break profiles, the fixing system includes 15x20 mm aluminium counterplates to be inserted inside the tubular section. They can be used on both sides to allow compatibility with a wide number of profiles.
The counterplate kit is available for 2- and 3-wings hinges, for flush / integral hinges and for hinges combined with shim.
Rapid fixing with M12 direct fixing screws
To be used for application on thermal break profiles, the M12 direct screw is the ideal solution for outward opening doors since it replaces the counterplates and telescopic spacers that are normally used.
The screw is available in lengths of 55, 65, 75 and 90 mm to be chosen according to the size of the profile.
Compatible with both the flush / integral hinges and the hinges combined with a shim.
Rapid fixing with expansion dowels
To be used for application on single-groove profiles, the expansion dowels are available for flush hinges and for hinges combined with a shim.
Both rapid fixing systems M12 screws and expansion dowels are ideal for replacing and / or adding hinges on doors already installed, since they can be used on doors already mounted and on closed perimeter frames.
Both fixing systems don’t need any special machining on the profile, but standard 11 mm drilling that can also be done with the specific templates.
