The model Cono was created in the mid 1950s during a fruitful creative collaboration between Ernesto Olivari and Italian architect and designer Gio Ponti. This handle was used for the spectacular Villa Planchart (1953-1957) in Caracas, Venezuela. CONO profile is a sculptural representation of the diagram depicting forces used to move a handle. The amount of material used is reduced to a minimum.
