WILKA Schließtechnik GmbH is a German manufacturer of locking technology with more than 160 years of experience in the development of security solutions. The company was founded in 1865 in Velbert, Germany, by Wilhelm Karrenberg, initially producing furniture locks in a small workshop. Today, WILKA is one of Germany’s best-known brands in the fields of locks, cylinders, and access control systems, remaining a family-owned business for six generations.

The WILKA product portfolio includes mechanical and electronic locks, profile cylinders, emergency exit and panic hardware solutions, as well as modern access control technologies for residential, public, and industrial buildings. The company is particularly recognized for its customized masterkey systems and high-security solutions designed for facilities with demanding access control requirements.

Over the course of its history, WILKA has developed numerous patented locking technologies and was among the first manufacturers in Germany to introduce a complete six-pin profile cylinder system.
