A smart keyless lock is an excellent choice for smart property management. The headaches over lost or forgotten keys are a thing of the past. Lock and unlock doors with a fob or PIN code, or via the mobile app YALE HOME without requiring the owner's presence. You can also grant access to your guests at any time from anywhere and monitor all usage via the mobile app.
With YALE Doorman L3, you no longer need any keys. Returning from a morning jog? The device reads your location and opens the door for you - all you need is to pull the handle and you are back home. Couldn't be more convenient!

Installation
The YALE Doorman L3 digital security lock is convenient to install on new doors or in place of existing ASSA 565 or ASSA 2000, ASSA 2002 locks. Door leaf thickness must be between 40 and 88 mm.
Digitally encrypted electronics with a safe and durable lock casing make it a smart choice even for the harsh climate of the North.
Remote control
The lock set includes a Wi-Fi module, which requires a power connection and placement no further than 7 m from the lock. The Wi-Fi module connects the YALE Doorman with the mobile app YALE HOME, which, in turn, offers a variety of options for remote control.
You can easily link the device with Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Airbnb, Apple HomeKit, Philips Hue, and SmartThings.
Battery change
The lock does not require wiring for power as it runs on batteries. The average battery life for a household is approximately one year. When the battery is running low, you will notice a flashing light on the lock and receive a notification on your mobile app. It is recommended that the batteries are replaced without delay; however, it is possible to use the emergency unlocking feature if the batteries run out completely.
