In the 1950s, the Swiss architect, sculptor and designer Max Bill got together with Ernst Moeckel to fashion a door handle that made design history as the 'Ulm handle'. From this, Johannes Potente created the 1023 model, which has been an alternative to common U-shaped models ever since.

    • stainless steel reinforced sub-construction with stable fixed pivot axis
    • handle length: 135 mm
    • spindle: 8 mm
    • standard set suitable for door thickness 39-58 mm
    • possible to order sets for door thickness 29-98 mm
    • compatible with short or long rounded backplates
    • suitable door knob can be added to all rose and backplate sets
