FSB AFL®: a new approach to flush-fitted installation

FSB AFL® is a new generation of flush-fitted rose construction that stands out with technical precision and limitless design opportunities. It is a rosette solution of just 3.5 mm in height, which can be installed either fully flush or subtly surface-mounted onto the door leaf. The rosette is compatible with standard locks and is an ideal solution for offices, hotels, and residential doors. The rose blends seamlessly into the door leaf and aligns with minimalist architectural lines.

With its adaptive technology, AFL® roses are compatible with any FSB handle. Direction-neutral return spring ensures long-term lever stability by preventing it from sagging even with heavy usage.

FSB AFL® combines impeccable design quality and technical precision. The system can be either flush-fitted with the door surface or subtly surface-mounted, thus offering unlimited freedom to architects and designers. This line is based on the creative collaboration of designers Markus Michalski and Michael Schmidt.

Two options with one system

The design comes in two models: the FSB AFL® Standard rose and the FSB AFL® Lockable. The lockable model features a manual turn that blends smoothly with the entire flush-fitted look without any additional elements or visual inconsistencies. The locking mechanism is fully concealed in the rose construction.

The locking mechanism is concealed within the rose. The red indicator signals that the door is locked and the room is occupied for the moment. The rose is also equipped with an emergency release function: the rose can be unlocked from the outside via coin-turn. No additional privacy (WC) rose is required.

The locking is convenient – simply turn it with your thumb. Meanwhile, the rest of your hand can remain on the lever and move the door. The motion is intuitive thanks to the innovative and high-quality mechanics, which harmonise well with understated designs.
